The Bangladesh archery team returned home today after winning the gold medal in the men’s compound team event at the Asia Cup Archery Tournament (Stage-1) held in Bangkok, Thailand. The champion team, which defeated Vietnam to clinch the title, was given a warm reception upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
On behalf of the State Minister for Youth and Sports, Secretary of the Ministry Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam welcomed the team with floral wreaths. During the reception, he extended his heartfelt congratulations to the players, coaches, and officials for their outstanding achievement.
“Winning gold by defeating a team like Vietnam in a major competition like the Asia Cup is a glorious achievement for our country,” said Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam. “I firmly believe that this archery team will achieve even greater success on the international stage in the future and continue to uphold the pride of Bangladesh’s flag across the world.”
