Known popularly as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, Dharmendra excelled across genres, including action, romance, and comedy.

Bollywood legend Dharmendra passed away early Monday morning (November 24), confirming the end of a cinematic era in India. Reports of his death had circulated on November 11, but his family later clarified that he was alive and in good health.

By midday, ambulances were seen outside his residence, and actress Esha Deol was spotted at arrangements for the funeral. The family had not released any official statement as of early afternoon, and security was heightened around the premises.

Celebrities, including Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor, and Madhur Bhandarkar, took to social media to honor Dharmendra, sharing photographs and memories. Johar described his passing as the end of an era.
