The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) published the final results of the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination. The results were released on Sunday afternoon.

A total of 1,521 candidates have been recommended for appointment. Of them, 1,320 candidates have been recommended for cadre positions, while 201 candidates have been recommended for non-cadre posts.

Earlier, 3,631 candidates had qualified in the written examination of the 47th BCS. Their viva voce examinations began in May. Despite the commission initially planning to publish the results in the first week of July, the necessary technical and administrative procedures were completed ahead of schedule, allowing the results to be released on its website today, according to PSC sources.
