After Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir assumed the presidency, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed took the seat beside the leader of the house in Parliament.

The third session of the National Parliament began on Thursday at 3:00 pm, with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad Bir Bikram presiding.

Under the new seating arrangement, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed is now occupying Mirza Fakhrul Islam’s seat, following his election as president.

The first row of the government benches includes, in order, Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Energy Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood Tuku, Women and Children Affairs Minister AZM Zahid Hossain, Local Government Minister Abdul Moyeen Khan and Selima Rahman.

Aman Ullah Aman has also been given a seat in the first row.
