Pakistan’s high commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, called on the prime minister’s defence adviser on Sunday for talks on expanding military cooperation, training exchanges and experience sharing between the two countries.
Haider led a three-member delegation to the office of Brigadier General (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam at Dhaka Cantonment, where the two sides discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest, an official statement said.
The meeting is expected to further strengthen and broaden defence collaboration and friendly ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
