Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended its BG339 and BG340 flights on the Dhaka-Riyadh and Riyadh-Dhaka routes for October 11 and 12 after Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport extended its closure, the airline said on Sunday.

The Riyadh airport will remain closed until 3 am Bangladesh time on October 12. Citing no visible progress on reopening, Biman said the flights scheduled for the two days would not operate.

The airline said it would inform passengers about flights and schedules at 12 pm Bangladesh time on October 12. Biman apologised for the temporary inconvenience and asked for passengers’ cooperation.
