Bangladesh Police has finalized its new logo or monogram to replace the existing one. The new logo features the national flower, Shapla (water lily), resting on water surrounded by a wheat and paddy wreath joined by three jute leaves at the top. The word "Police" in Bengali shall be written below the lower joint of the paddy and wheat wreath.

The Police Headquarters issued an order to this end on Thursday (April 10), signed by its Additional Deputy Inspector General (Logistics) Nasima Akhter.

The Police Headquarters has asked all concerned to prepare the changed monogram/logo for use in flags, signboards, uniforms, and other items used in your district/unit.

The order said the monogram has already received the approval of the appropriate authorities and is waiting for the issuance of the gazette notification.

The order said the new logo has been finalized as part of implementing the decision to change Bangladesh Police's current monogram or logo.
