Two people have died from dengue fever across the country in the last 24 hours, while another 693 patients have been hospitalised with the disease. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) shared this information in a notification on Thursday.

According to the notification, both fatalities over the past 24 hours occurred in the Dhaka division. This brings the total death toll from dengue across the country to 65 from January up to this point in the year, while the total number of infections has risen to 22,243.
