Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah, member (Harbour and Marine) of the Chattogram Port Authority, confirmed the information.
The ship, named Yuan Jing He, reached the port’s outer anchorage early Friday morning. Additionally, another vessel carrying 34,000 tons of diesel from Malaysia is scheduled to arrive at the port tonight.
Ahmed Amin Abdullah said the Yuan Jing He is currently stationed at the outer anchorage. Another ship, the Shan Gang Fa Xian, is expected to arrive with fuel later tonight.
