Journalists and others working in newspapers will enjoy a six-day holiday starting from April 9 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and Bangla New Year, the Newspapers Owners Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) announced on Saturday.

“According to the decision of the executive committee of NOAB, members will observe Tuesday to Saturday on 9-13 April as holiday on account of Eid-ul-Fitr and Sunday April 14 on account of Bngali New Year’s Day (Pohela Boishakh),” said NOAB.

Therefore, no newspaper will be published on April 10-15.
